Take boat to visit murano... there's glass blowing factories and burano, is a cool island with a lot of color. You can use the public boat transportation or book private at getyourguide.com or ask the front desk at the hotel. Find a gondola anywhere to take a small ride through venice for like 60 euro. You can buy a day pass for public boats right outside the train station by boat dock.
